Biography:
 1934 in Breslau, Germany.
Studied Mining Engineering at the Bergakademie (Technical University) Clausthal, Germany, with one year scholarship at The Pennsylvania State University, USA.
Dr.-Ing. degree at TU Clausthal in Petroleum Engineering.
From 1965 to 1967 Sales Engineer with Demag Lauchhammer, Düsseldorf, Germany;
from 1967 to 1972 Resident Manager of
Demag Lauchhammer for North America, located in Cleveland, OH. This company was a leader in large-scale bulk materials handling equipment for mines, bulk ports, power plants, etc.

Founded Trans Tech Publications in Clausthal-Zellerfeld in 1972, President & Publisher of TTP.

Sold Trans Tech Publications June 30, 2001 and started to build up The Powder/Bulk Portal.

This would have never been possible without the never ending support of his wife Ute, the soul behind everything.

Member of SME Society of Mining Engineers, BuH-Verein Fraternity, Rotary International.
